Tony Soprano & Obama

Last night I had this morbidly bizarre dream that involved the strangest set of circumstances. In it, I was seated on my couch watching the BBC World Service wearing a Manchester United kit complete with shinpads and cleats. I was enjoying a cup of tea and out of nowhere a plumber, a cardinal and the male cast of The Sopranos show up in my living room. Tony Soprano was wearing this black leather Trenchcoat with his hands in his pockets. He raised an eyebrow and asked if I was going to be a gentleman and offer some tea and scones. Confused and bewildered (clusterfucked, really), I changed my demeanor to being accommodating and acted like a proper host. Then Tony Soprano sits next to me and he's asking me all these weird personal questions and concludes by asking "When are you going to stop fucking up shit?" all intimidating and shit.. I didn't know WTF he was on about so I played it all avoidant but this had very little effect. After some time I got bored with this berating banter directed at me and I said something saucy because I'm a bit snarky when I'm nervous so I said "Who's up for some B.K. WHOPers?" which was greeted by a ceremonious "OOOOOOOOH", like they do in the show. Which was then followed by Tony Soprano bitch-slapping me and grabbing me by my jaw and acting as if he was going to punch me. He's all huffing and puffing on the verge of a heart-attack and then he calms down, kisses me on both cheeks and hugs me. Can I get a FTW, holler! Throughout the dream I constantly ask Tony if I can wake up now because this is getting boring and weird. Then, in my dream, I go to leave my apartment and Tony Soprano is on my front lawn on a fucking horse looking like Napoleon with a sword in his hand. He then gives me the "look" which denotes he's "watching me" from here on out o_O So... that happened.

Here are some photos of OBAMA. They speak volumes of him. Which is to say I love him.

In all truthfulness, the third photo there kinda sorta makes me wanna cry. Thousands of Americans are losing their homes on a daily basis, and thousands more are losing their jobs. The middle class is just simply vanishing. I need not remind you that, historically, the greatest political leaders have always been inspirational. In the hardest and saddest of times it was always people like JFK and Churchill who always persevered through hardships and used language and words to keep morale high -- confidence. I, as well as millions, see this in Obama and it's very ernest and truthful, for lack of better words. Oh and he just so happens to be black so that's pretty fucking historic if he wins. The following youtube clip pretty much encapsulates the sentiments of this paragraph. It is one of many such speeches. You'll have to excuse the "cheese factor". Whoever uploaded the clip decided to be bit sauce and apply some sentimental score to the video. It's probably effective.
