"Who you know fresher than Hov'? Riddle me dat!" My friendski Marissa provided me with the following video link. It's Benjamin telling nursery rhymes. It's the best thing in the history of the worlds. Check it out!
I'm currently building myself a new workstation from scratch. It's going to be fucking king. This is obvious. I'm stoked. However, I'm having a bit of a dilemma regarding what case to buy for my new rig. I've decided, without a shadow of a doubt, that the case must be a Lian Li case. The company is based in Taiwan (of all places, LOL, production FAIL). But they, Lian Li, make the most esthetically pleasing computer cases and components I have ever seen. The only plus to Macs or [fucking]Apple is the fact that they make nice looking computers. But we can change that if we try. Yes we can! and all that. The cases I've reduced my options to are the following; please help me decide which case you think brings teh s3xy back. Cheers!

or

Both cases are extremely expensive. They've been designed from a logical engineering perspective over cost of manufacturing. They're made from Aluminum, which is rare, for design and heat dissipation-related reasons. I'm sort of inching towards the black aluminum case. It's slightly cheaper and includes more internal fans and stands slightly shorter than the silver one. Think of these cases as the Crate & Barrel of the PC market.
Additionally, I've given some serious thought to starting a side freelance business that involves building clients custom computer workstations and rigs. I fell upon this idea by chance whilst researching cases. One website offered custom-made PCs for the gaming market -- which is huge right now and interestingly enough, gaming is showing massive growth through these recessionary times (because people get laid off and have more time etc...). My business model would be divided into the following sections 1. High-end workstations (targeting CAD and High End CG markets) 2. Family PCs (20%) 3. Gamers (again, 20%). The only thing stopping me from getting this shit in order is the fact that the recession is forcing people to save money. But at the same time, there could be the argument to suggest that people who get laid off are starting their own business and are in requirement of my L337 skillz that would provide them with a FIERCE workstation that is both functional and the most beautiful thing you've ever seen. The other thing holding me back is the requirement to have expensive computer gear laying around me in order to build these systems. Which would require an enormous amount of seed money. Like tens of thousands, possibly. I ain't gangstah like dat, yet.
I'll keep you posted.
