    "Remember where I have been?"

I've always wanted a nice knife and the other day I managed to acquire a very nice pair of Japanese cutting knives for next to nothing. They were reduced in price, greatly, and I ended up paying something retarded like $15.oo for the pair. I can't see why they were sold so low. They're perfectly center-weighted and are sharp. So sharp, in fact, that when I was wrangling the packaging in order to access my newly purchased knives, I ended up slicing my finger (almost off, might I add). I almost didn't notice, it's that sharp, if it weren't for the fact that I was bleeding all over the place. Hmph. Anyway, woot!. I don't use these as much as I would like. I've denied myself intricately prepared meals. Perhaps I'll have a chance to in the summer.

Last night's episode of Lost was, good, but probably the most boring episode of the season thus far. Did we really discover anything of mentionable importance other than we finally know what year the losties are in? 1977 is my birth year. Perhaps it's J.J. Abram's tip of the cap to me? Anyway, I remember the writers saying that season 3 onwards was for the hardcore fans of the show. But then we're returning to this bizarre love triangle bullshit between Jack, Kate and Sawyer. Can I just state for the record that Kate is the most annoying thing known to network television? Nobody wants to watch that recalcitrating cow anymore. Apart from that, we find out that Young Ben brought Sayid a sandwich. And that Ben had really fucked up lips.. dot dot dot.
